The Task Lighting APT Series Slim Profile Angled Power Strip delivers the same hardwired under-cabinet power as the TR Series but in a slimmer, more refined package — just 1-1/2" deep with a cleaner profile that disappears even more completely under modern cabinetry. If you're working with a contemporary kitchen, a showroom-finish renovation, or any space where the fixture needs to be truly invisible, the APT is the right choice. Same patented angled face for easy plug access, same 20-amp tamper-resistant receptacles, same professional hardwired installation — in a lower-profile aluminum housing designed for today's thinner cabinet styles.
Available in 10 standard sizes from 9" to 72" and four designer finishes. Installs with a single 12-gauge Romex wire. Custom configurations available including additional receptacles, rocker switches, and custom lengths. Requires installation by a licensed electrician. If you want USB-A/C charging built in, see the APT-USB Series.
Features
- SLIMMER PROFILE, SAME PROFESSIONAL POWER: At just 1-1/2" deep, the APT Series sits closer to the cabinet underside than any other hardwired power strip in its class — making it the right choice for thin-rail cabinetry, floating shelves, and contemporary kitchens where every millimeter of visible fixture matters. Same 20-amp tamper-resistant receptacles and patented angled face as the TR Series, in a housing engineered for the modern design environment.
- 20-AMP TAMPER-RESISTANT RECEPTACLES — CODE COMPLIANT: Every receptacle is a 20-amp tamper-resistant single outlet — cULus Listed and meeting 2008 NEC standards required in kitchens, bathrooms, and anywhere children are present. Installs on a 20-amp branch circuit with GFCI protection using 12-gauge Romex. This is hardwired professional power, not a plug-in strip — it delivers the same reliable current as a wall outlet, permanently, exactly where you need it at the countertop.
- POWDER-COATED ALUMINUM — BUILT FOR DAILY USE: The APT housing is powder-coated aluminum — scratch-resistant, rust-resistant, and built to hold up in kitchens, workshops, and offices where cheap plastic strips would crack or discolor within a year. Four finish options — White, Satin Nickel, Black, and Bronze — each with coordinating receptacle colors. Ships fully assembled with wood screws and wall anchors included.
- 10 SIZES — INCLUDING 9" AND 12" FOR TIGHT SPACES: The APT Series covers more ground than most under-cabinet power strips, starting at 9" for narrow filler cabinets and running up to 72" for wide cabinet runs. The 9", 12", and 18" sizes require a wire entry side selection (Left or Right) to suit your installation — specify at time of order. The 24" through 72" sizes have a standard knockout location and do not require a side selection. Custom lengths from 6" to 92" available — contact us for a quote.
- WHEN TO CHOOSE APT OVER TR — 5-YEAR WARRANTY: The APT and TR Series are functionally similar — both deliver hardwired 20-amp power under cabinets. Choose the APT when profile depth matters: contemporary kitchens with thin-rail cabinets or spaces where the fixture needs to sit as flush as possible. Choose the TR when you need the widest size range and the most receptacles per foot. Both are assembled in the USA with a 5-year limited warranty on fixtures and 3 years on accessories.
