The Task Lighting APT-USB Series Slim Profile Angled Power Strip takes everything that makes the APT Series the right choice for modern under-cabinet installations and adds one thing that contractors and homeowners increasingly ask for by name — built-in USB-A/C charging. Every fixture includes one integrated USB-A/C device that supports regular and fast charging (up to 18W on a single port), so phones, tablets, and accessories charge right at the countertop without occupying a receptacle. Same 1-1/2" slim profile. Same 20-amp tamper-resistant receptacles. Same hardwired professional installation. Just better.
Available in 8 standard sizes from 18" to 72". Every size requires a USB device side selection — Left or Right — because the wire entry is always on the opposite end from the USB device. Select based on where your electrical connection point is located in the cabinet above. Four designer finishes with coordinating receptacle colors. Requires installation by a licensed electrician. - BUILT-IN USB-A/C CHARGING — EVERY SIZE, EVERY FIXTURE: Every APT-USB fixture includes one integrated USB-A/C charging device — not an add-on, not an accessory, built in from the factory. Single port delivers up to 18W for fast charging. When both USB-A and USB-C ports are in use simultaneously, up to 15W is supported. Charge phones, tablets, earbuds, and accessories right at the countertop without giving up a single power receptacle.
- 20-AMP TAMPER-RESISTANT RECEPTACLES — SLIM 1-1/2" PROFILE: Same professional-grade receptacles as the APT Series — 20-amp tamper-resistant single outlets, cULus Listed, meeting 2008 NEC standards. Same 1-1/2" slim profile that tucks cleanly under modern thin-rail cabinetry. Installs with a single 12-gauge Romex wire. The USB device doesn't replace a receptacle — the full complement of outlets is preserved at every size.
- LEFT OR RIGHT USB — CHOOSE BASED ON YOUR WIRING: On every APT-USB fixture, the USB-A/C device sits on one end and the wire entry knockout is always on the opposite end. Select Left if you want the USB device on the left side of the fixture (wire entry on the right). Select Right if you want the USB device on the right side (wire entry on the left). Choose based on where your electrical connection point is located in the cabinet above — your electrician will confirm this during the installation plan.
- POWDER-COATED ALUMINUM — FOUR FINISHES WITH COORDINATING RECEPTACLES: The same rugged powder-coated aluminum housing as the APT Series — scratch-resistant, rust-resistant, built for kitchens, offices, workshops, and anywhere the fixture will see daily use for years. Available in Black, Bronze, Satin Nickel, and White, each with a coordinating receptacle color (Black receptacles with Black and Bronze, Grey with Satin Nickel, White with White). Ships fully assembled with wood screws and wall anchors included.
- 8 STANDARD SIZES — FITS EVERY CABINET WIDTH: Sized to fit standard cabinet widths from 18" all the way to 72". The 18" is the smallest APT-USB available — for narrower cabinets where USB charging is still needed, consider the standard APT Series. Choosing Left vs. Right USB Side: The USB-A/C device sits on one end of the fixture and the wire entry knockout is always on the opposite end, 1-1/2" from the end on the back of the fixture. Select Left if you want the USB device on the left (wire enters from the right). Select Right if you want the USB device on the right (wire enters from the left). Base your selection on where your electrician will be bringing the wire into the fixture from above — the wire entry end should be closest to your power source in the cabinet.
