The Task Lighting RM USB Series Tunable-White Lighted Power Strip is the highest-output lighted power strip in the Task Lighting lineup — delivering 600 lumens per foot of tunable-white LED lighting across the full 2700K–5000K range, combined with 20-amp tamper-resistant receptacles and built-in USB-A/C charging, all in a single under-cabinet fixture. If you've seen the DV USB Series and want more light output, or if you're running multiple fixtures on one power supply to reduce project cost, this is the right product.
The key distinction of the RM Series is the remote power supply — ordered separately, it powers multiple fixtures from a single supply, reducing both wiring complexity and total project cost on multi-unit installations like full kitchen runs. The USB-A/C device is always positioned on the left side of the fixture, with wire entry always on the right. Available in 8 sizes from 18-1/2" to 72-1/2" and four designer finishes. - 600 LUMENS PER FOOT — 50% MORE LIGHT THAN THE DV USB SERIES: The RM USB Series delivers 600 lm/ft at 6 watts per foot — 50% more light output than the DV USB Series' 400 lm/ft. For larger kitchens, deeper countertops, or any installation where maximum brightness matters, this is the fixture that delivers it. Still 90+ CRI across the full tunable range, still a 120° beam angle for even shadow-free coverage — just significantly more light per foot of fixture.
- TUNABLE WHITE 2700K–5000K — FULL RANGE AT ANY BRIGHTNESS: Patented TandemLED® tunable-white technology adjusts from 2700K warm white to 5000K daylight — and every shade of white in between — at any brightness level from 5% to 100%. Tune the color temperature and adjust the brightness independently using a compatible wired controller, wireless WAV Smart Control system, or smart home device (all sold separately). The lighting circuit never dims the receptacles — power stays live regardless of lighting state.
- REMOTE POWER SUPPLY — LOWER COST ON MULTI-FIXTURE INSTALLATIONS: Unlike the DV USB Series which has a built-in power supply, the RM Series uses a remote power supply ordered separately. The advantage: one remote power supply can power multiple RM Series fixtures, significantly reducing total cost on full kitchen runs or multi-unit installations. This is the preferred configuration for contractors and designers installing three or more fixtures on a single project. Compatible power supplies are listed on the spec sheet and sold separately on our site.
- BUILT-IN USB-A/C + 20-AMP RECEPTACLES — NO BACKSPLASH CUTTING: Every fixture includes one USB-A/C charging device positioned on the left side and 20-amp tamper-resistant single receptacles — the full count varies by fixture length. Wire entry is always on the right side, opposite the USB device. No side selection is required at time of order. Installs with 12-gauge Romex for receptacles and 18–20 gauge wire for LEDs. Ships fully assembled with wood screws and wall anchors included.

RM USB vs. DV USB — Which Do You Need?
Choose the RM USB Series (this product) when you want maximum light output (600 lm/ft vs. 400 lm/ft), tunable white color temperature, or when you're installing multiple fixtures on one project and want to run them all from a single remote power supply to reduce cost. Also the right choice if you want full smart home dimming and color temperature control via WAV wireless systems.
Choose the DV USB Series when you want a simpler, self-contained installation with a built-in power supply — no separate power supply to order or wire. The DV USB is single white (fixed Kelvin temperature) at 400 lm/ft, and starts lower in price. It's the right choice for single-fixture installations or anywhere the built-in power supply simplifies the job.
